How the lab wiki is organized and how new notes are added.
The lab wiki is a home for useful material that benefits from being shared and improved over time: course notes, methodological explanations, computing recipes, and lab practices.
Organization
- Course notes collect explanations, examples, and references associated with teaching.
- Methods & models document recurring research ideas and analytical techniques.
- Research computing covers software, data, and reproducible workflows.
- Lab handbook captures procedures and institutional knowledge for current and future group members.
Adding a note
Wiki notes are Markdown files stored with the website. A note needs a title, a short description, a category, and an ordering number. This keeps the content easy to write, review, version, and update with an AI-assisted workflow.
